WILL THERE BE TICKETS AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR OR ANY DAY-TICKETS AVAILABLE?

We won’t offer day-tickets. If you don’t have a ticket, you will not be allowed to enter the festival grounds.

Important Infos

ARE KIDS ALLOWED TO COME TO THE FESTIVAL? DO I HAVE TO BUY A TICKET FOR HER/HIM TOO?

Kids are very welcome at Conscious Madness. That’s why they will have their own space to play, called Kids Corner! Kids under the age of 13 do not require a ticket.

There will be a programme during the day and we invite parents, kids and friends to be creative, play, discover and experiment together. Please note – we don’t offer child supervision while you go dancing all day! We want the kids to realise what a sustainable and conscious festival can look like and that’s why we have chosen to use upcycled and natural materials for the activities offered here.

Please bring sufficient hearing protection for your little ones, as it can get quite loud at the music stages.

Kids are allowed to move freely on the festival grounds during the day and must be accompanied during the night.

Accessibility

Every year we try to make the festival experience better for everyone. We try to accommodate people with disabilities the best we can and offer an accessible toilet and shower 🙂

Fire / Pyrotechnics / Fireworks / Konfetti / Glitter / Drones

Please don’t! Strictly forbidden at the festival.

Dogs and other pets

Dogs need to be kept on a leash on the festival grounds because there are lots of kids around. Please don’t bring other pets to the festival.

Weather

Of course we will be blessed with the best weather possible. But in case it does get a bit wet, don’t forget your raincoat, umbrella and gumboots.

The lake is a sensitive ecosystem

The lake is not a toilet! Please don’t use shower gel or soap in the lake. Please wash off sunscreen before entering the lake.

Awareness

We do not accept sexism & sexualised violence, trans & homophobia, racism, anti-Semitism (…) .
Each person is different and personal boundaries are individual and subjective. Respecting them should be a matter of course!

Especially in spaces that are determined by loudness, darkness and intoxication (but also in other areas of social gathering and social interaction), border crossing unfortunately occur again and again.

In case you experience or witness any form of discrimination or (sexualised) violence, there will be an Awareness Team at the Festival – available to listen and support you at all times.

P.S.
To all male read person: If you want to take off your shirt, please be aware of your privilege! Let’s desexualise the female nipple!

Rubbish bags, cigarette butts, water bottles

We would like to ask you to bring your own rubbish bag and to keep the amount of waste you bring to the festival to a minimum.

Help us keep the area clean and use our provided portable ashtrays.

You can fill your own bottles with fresh drinking water on site.

Food and Accommodation

All you need, is your camping gear and a little bit of pocket money for the whole weekend. There will be a couple of food stalls and bars as well as water points, showers and toilets.

We will offer cool drinks at the bars and delicious fresh meals from various food vendors. Everything will be offered at a fair price and we invite you to support our festival with your contribution.

Of course, you may also bring your own food and drinks. Please be aware that the closest supermarkets, petrol stations and ATMs are 18km away and most stores are closed on Sundays! So please make sure you bring enough provisions and pocket money for the whole weekend.
